a. Eligible participants who sign up with their VMware Email Account will receive email communications within minutes of registering with information on how to download the product.
a. Participants have 90 days to use the trial after activation.
- Participants are encouraged to follow their usual process for contacting the VMware support team as they navigate the onboarding process. Basic support terms apply (Mon-Fri, 8-5PM local time).

Technical Requirements
- The trial is available for current AWS, vSphere (v6.5 or above),and VMware Cloud Foundation (VCF) customers. Carbon Black customers can also participate in the trial by using a different email than their Carbon Black Cloud license.
- Organizations located in China, Russia, or an embargoed country as detailed here [https://www.bis.doc.gov/index.php/policy-guidance/country-guidance/sanctioned-destinations], in addition to any organization subject to sanctions by the United States government, are ineligible for this Trial Offer.
If using vSphere
All Customers:
- Internet connection to the Carbon Black Cloud
For vSphere Customers
- vSphere 6.5 or higher
- VCenter 6.7 or higher
- VM Tools 11.2 or higher
For VMware Cloud Foundation (VCF) Customers:
- VMware Cloud Foundation 4.0 and above
For AWS Customers
- Ability to create IAM roles and assign permission
- CloudTrail enabled on AWS account
- EventBridge configured on AWS account
